Youth Soccer Instructors Needed for kids Ages 3-8

Sam's Soccer Jam is a program that teaches soccer to kids ages 3-8 at public parks, preschools, Day Care Centers and private and public schools in the Houston Texas area. We are currently need a few great instructors to help us run some sessions at a few of our centers in Houston Northwest, North.

This is a part time and seasonal position and can be somewhat flexible, depending on your schedule.

The classes can be during the week and some could be during the weekend, typically in the morning before 12:00 or in the afternoon after 2:30. Each class is 30 to 40 minutes long. We provide training, equipment, and all curriculum materials. If you have your own equipment then let us know. We pay for each session you run. We pay well: ($18+ per 35-40 minute session). At most centers, there will be multiple classes, meaning you will be instructing 2-3 consecutive sessions ($36-54+ for less than 2 hours of coaching).

The ideal instructor meets the following criteria:

Responsible -- arrives on time to each session, can handle a group of 10 or more children, keeps accurate attendance, communicates well with Sam Soccer Jam director.
Professional -- neat in appearance, friendly and courteous with day care center staff and director, self assured
Enthusiastic -- Must enjoy young kids, be able to connect with kids ages 3-8,
must make the Sam's Soccer Jam class the best 40 minutes of their week
Soccer experience-- no official soccer experience is required. However, having some familiarity with the game either as a player or coach will be helpful
In addition to the above, a successful candidate must pass a Drug, Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.

ECE units are preferred but not essential. Candidates with qualifying amount of 12 units will automatically start at a higher pay per class.
